There is a short text about the exhibition: “British painter Chris Ofili has distinguished himself as one of the most innovative young artists working in Britain today. He has been recently been nominated for both this year’s Turner and Jewood prizes. His first solo exhibition in London, brings together a large body of paintings created over the past six years that showcases his eclectic approach to the work completed since he graduated from the Royal College in 1993.”
