Mark Sealy MBE

Born, 1960 in England

One of the artists in Black Art: Plotting the Course, Msark Sealy was born in London in 1960 and studied at Goldsmiths College.

Mark Sealy has for a number of years been Director of Autograph: The Association for Black Photographers. He was part of the Historical Perspectives on International Curatorial Debates of the 1980s and 1990s panel, 21 April 2001 at the Shades of Black conference, Duke University, 19 - 22 April 2001. Mark Sealy has been honoured by being awarded a MBE in the UK New Year Honours List of 2013 ‘For services to Photography’.
