Danijah Tafari (Fitzroy Sang)

Born, 1955 in Kingston, Jamaica

From the catalogue, Creation for Liberation Open Exhibition Art by Black Artists, 1987: “Born in Jamaica in 1955, Fitzroy immigrated to England with his parents in 1967. He began photography at the age of 18, and decided to travel the Americas, the Caribbean, the Mediterraean and Europe, eventually returning to England in 1980. Fitzroy then attended  St Martin’s School of Art and was awarded a degree in Fine Arts.
